Destination Central Victoria work closely with the State Government to measure visitation to our region. We also work closely with Visit Victoria on tracking brand, statewide campaigns and consumer sentiment.

Tourism Australia provides a number of visitor statistics, market reports and research strategies at a national level.
The State and Federal government provide comprehensive research analysis and reporting on a regular basis for the tourism industry and small business. VTIC also produces a small number of reports for industry.
Overnight spend, visitors and nights in regional Victoria have all fully recovered and are back to pre-pandemic levels, with strong growth in the interstate market, while intrastate and daytrip visitors were just below the pre-pandemic results, reflecting some cooling in domestic demand.
