MEDIA & PR WINS

We’ve had some great PR wins over the past couple of months, achieving coverage across broadcast, print and digital.

See below a list of recent PR highlights that have been coordinated by our team.

  • Australian Traveller – we rolled out the final piece of content from our statewide partnership with Australian Traveller, with an online feature positioning Victoria’s Heartland as one of Australia’s top food destinations while showcasing a range of local operators.
  • The Weekend Australian – following a famil in partnership with Visit Victoria, this double page spread profiled gardens and garden themed accommodation and appeared in the Travel + Luxury supplement in The Weekend Australian.

Events coverage

The Great Trentham Spudfest – broadcast coverage in Nine News Melbourne live weather crosses, Ten News Melbourne inclusion in Must Do Melbourne segment, 7 News Melbourne inclusion in Our Pick in Vic segment.

Macedon Ranges Autumn Festival – in depth news segment on WIN News Bendigo, plus featured in Time Out Melbourne, Secret Melbourne, Forte Magazine and Beat.

SOCIAL MEDIA UPDATE

April was a big month across our social channels, with strong growth driven by several collaborations, the wrap-up of our annual competition with Sitchu, and our Macedon Ranges Autumn Festival campaign, which included in-region content creation and a Grow Your Audience giveaway.

Across Facebook and Instagram, we recorded around 1.67M views, 77K content interactions, 10.7K profile/page visits and 4.5K new follows. Instagram was the strongest engagement driver, with 72.1K interactions and 2.7K new follows, while Facebook delivered strong awareness with 451.5K viewers and 748.7K views.

A strong reminder that content partnerships, seasonal campaigns and well-timed giveaways continue to play a valuable role in building reach, engagement and audience growth for Victoria’s Heartland.
